i didn't look at who the author was until after i completed it. i suppose it should be no surprise that it's a glaiel game. fantastic. what a great concept. really hope you do some more/expand.

this is so lovely.

it's brilliant! i take it you've played the old masters game poltergeist, i think it was called.. or a HAUNTING or something like that.. with the cool green ghost. that was an awful game. yours is what they should've made.

compliments aside though, either i am shiiiiit at this or it's a bit flawed. people seem to run around at random, i can't really scare htem in the direction out of the house. i gave up after a while cuz i wasn't getting anywhere, but i still think it's a lovely game.

ambitious.

ambitious is a good description, as other reviewers have pointed out. the intention here is all well and good, but i think it falls short in many places.

graphically, the 3d modeling is nice at first but soon becomes lazy. characters are too similar and the customization just feels pointless.

i'd say the sound is the least disappointing thing about this game. obviously, josh tomar is a great voice actor and certainly gives the game a firm foundation. but his acting ability is not enough to save it. the music isn't bad, though.

the story is a cop out - desperately trying to combine two popular ideas and failing miserably. if it weren't for the STORY telling you that it's set in the future, after the world has fallen, you wouldn't have a clue you were in any sort of cyberpunk age. also, why go through the effort of making a story in english and not get an english-speaking person to check it thoroughly and correct mistakes? I am sure there are even people out there willing to do it for free, for experience.

the weird thing here is that i didn't enjoy playing this at all, but there's something about it that i want to like. so, i'll give it a 6. maybe it's because i can see that there has been a lot of effort been put in here... it just really needs the direction and final touches of someone with clearer intention and a better grasp of how to make a well-rounded game.

but what do i know? kids will love it because it has gladiators and the word post-apolcalytpic in it. :)

interesting comment but, even more, nice ending :D

lovely game again.

as with the first. but, i can't get past the tree maze. i solve it correctly (checked walkthrough) and nothing happens. :*(

cute but frustrating.

it's a nice idea, and it's cute.. but i found it quite frustrating and not very rewarding. after the tutorial the gameplay doesn't seem to change (but i didn't complete the game, so this is a flawed point). the line drawing is too quick for me, or i just never got the knack of it either.
nae bad tho!

fantastic.

this is an absolutely wonderful little game. my only wish is that it could be a bit longer, and that the challenge curve was steeper.

make more, please. :)

could be excellent..

i dunno. maybe i'm just not good enough. i think this could be an excellent game but it comes across as being purposefully frustrating.

the nightmare boss only seems (again, maybe this is just me being dumb) to have one attack that you can use against him. i'm usually so busy trying to get used to her unnatural sliding (it's like she's constantly on ice) that i often get hit. i tried playing for 4 game days and remained as patient as i could but really just lost interest. i would start to do really well against him but of course he has a huge life bar and as i said, only one of his attacks was hurting him so i found myself really bored.

there was no want for me to keep playing. i didn't want to beat the nightmare because i knew that even if i did, i'd probably just have to do it again and again. so i closed the game.

i have a feeling this game is for the more hardcore bitesize gamers out there who want something simple in concept and straightforward in gameplay, but with some horribly challenging element to them that gives them reason to spend all day at their computer.

oh, i also found the music very annoying. a change of sound wouldn't go amiss.

all these criticisms aside, i thought it was a nice idea. the leveling was neat and the graphics were very sweet. it's a well made game. just not for the casual gamer. well done anyway, hope it does well and hope you make some more games.

i really hope...

i really hope the release of games such as this one marks the beginning of a REAL adventure game movement in flash. so much can be said about its beautiful and dark fairy tale aesthetic, evident in the art, animation and music. it's a work of art and a joy to play.

it's not very difficult (which, for flash adventure games, i think is alright) and with the exception of the many deaths you can get (which are fun, don't get me wrong) the game lacks some imagination in terms of puzzles and narrative movement. it was very short, so this was a disappointment, but i am still happy to have played it and for once i was engaged enough to WANT to find all the medals (albeit not the 200 sling shot fire one, that seems a little pointless).

needless to say i am looking forward to the second release; the last animation that reveals who i can assume is the evil witch was so simple yet so beautifully done that i sat up in my chair and wanted to get straight into the second game! i hope you guys can get the 2nd ep out soon. :)

i loved this game. i can find little flaw in terms of style. it's only because of its very short length and a-bit-too-straightforward structure that i haven't given it 10/10, but it definitely deserves a 5 on the score vote. :)

best of luck with the game's success.

beautiful.

this is a very beautiful game. it relaxes me which is not often something a game can do.. so i guess that's a great thing?

the animation is wondefully smooth and i fell in love with sly the moment i saw him sit down. it's a very playable and like-able game.

my only quibble is the motion blur when running. it makes me eyes feel a bit funny, but i've been at work all day so i'll give it another go tomorrow and see if i still feel the same. regardless, it deserves high scores and great reviews. :)

this must've taken SO long!

well done! i loved it. i thought i might get bored after a few minutes; it's not often a newgrounds RPG keeps me interested for the entire game. but before i knew it, i had completed the game. i was a little disappointed to think that i'll lose all my stats for the sequel, but it's all good fun. overall, fantastic, and well done on your accreditation on the telly. :)

not so turtle now!
